The Unstoppable Nature of Alzheimer's Disease
and One Man's Quest to Outpace It

Suffering a mini-stroke in 2018, which led to brain fog issues, and prompting an eventual visit to a neurologist to evaluate for baseline brain function, Sean received a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Upon receiving the diagnosis, he and his wife rapidly went through all five stages of grief in a matter of weeks, settling upon acceptance, as there was no other choice. He has finished 18 months of Lecanemab infusions and is seeking other novel clinical opportunities so that he can continue to try to outpace the progression of the disease.

About the Speaker:
Sean Terwilliger is a former technology leader in both domestic and international independent education. He now serves as an advocate and speaker raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease.
