The Center for Health Professions Lifelong Learning is committed to providing quality and excellence in interprofessional continuing education. We provide programs in a variety of settings: live, virtual, online, hybrid, and independent study. Each format is designed to accommodate the diverse needs and schedules of our participants. Our live sessions offer hands-on, interactive experiences, while our virtual and online options provide flexibility and accessibility. Hybrid programs combine the best of both worlds, allowing for both in-person and remote learning. Independent study options cater to those who prefer a self-paced learning environment, ensuring that all professionals have the opportunity to engage in lifelong learning.
We offer online programs, conferences and workshops year-round.

Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, the University of Southern Indiana Center for Health Professions Lifelong Learning (CHPLL) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the University of Southern Indiana Center for Health Professions Lifelong Learning is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. The University of Southern Indiana maintains responsibility for these courses.
Many of these activities are planned by and for the healthcare team and therefore qualify for Interprofessional Continuing Education Credit (IPCE). This logo will appear for any activities that meet the criteria for IPCE credit.
