Respiratory Excellence: A Conference for the Whole Team

Program Description
This conference will equip respiratory therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with the latest knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving respiratory care landscape and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration.
Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:
- Describe the role and impact of pulmonary disease navigation in improving patient outcomes.
- Apply current evidence-based strategies to optimize COPD management, reduce exacerbations, and enhance patient care.
- Explore advancements in sleep science and their implications for both patients and healthcare teams.
- Demonstrate effective techniques for managing difficult airways to ensure safe and successful airway interventions.
- Identify best practices in neonatal ventilation to improve respiratory outcomes in newborns.
Target Audience
The target audience includes respiratory therapists, nurses, and other health professionals interested in respiratory issues.

Contact Hours
The University of Southern Indiana designates this activity for 7.25 contact hours. CE hours will be available for Nurses, Physicians, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and Health Facility Administrators. CE hours will also be available for Indiana licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Mental Health Counselors, and Dental Professionals.
Application has been made to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for continuing education contact hours for respiratory therapists.
Enrollment Cost
- $85 for professionals
$45 for current graduate students $25 for undergraduate students
After June 12:
- $100 for professionals
- $60 for current graduate students
- $40 for undergraduate students
*Registrations accepted with credit card payment or employer invoicing. A one-time invoice fee of $25.00 will be added to the requesting organization's official invoice sent by the University of Southern Indiana.
Refund Policy
A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged through June 16, 2025. No refunds will be provided after that date.
