Offered by the College of Nursing and Health Professions at USI, the 100% online Master of Health Administration (MHA) will prepare graduate students for leadership roles in healthcare. USI’s affordable and flexible program is designed for individuals who have a bachelor's degree and desire to diversify their leadership skills or obtain a leadership position in the healthcare field.

There are two options within the MHA program for earning graduate certificates:

Graduate Certificate – Administrator-in-Training (AIT) Residency

In addition to the four specialty courses, an optional Administrator in Training (AIT) residency is offered for those interested in applying for a nursing home administrator license. Students who successfully complete the AIT residency are eligible to sit for the national Nursing Home Administrator board exam and the State of Indiana Health Facility Administrator licensure exam.

  • Principles of Aging
  • Health Policy
  • Administration
  • Finance

Courses within the PAC specialty will emphasize social determinants of health, regulation, the legislative process and licensure requirements.
