Each semester professionals from the field speak with students in introductory accounting classes as part of the Accountants in the Classroom program. Each speaker talks about his or her career path and experience based on their area of expertise, whether they are in public, private or governmental accounting. No matter the industry, their perspectives show that there are near-unlimited career opportunities for accounting majors.
The companies represented included Toyota, Pettinga Financial, Riney Hancock, Welborn Foundation, Community Foundation of Bloomington, First Bank, BKD LLP, and Shoe Carnival.
