The Romain College is pleased to announce that the Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter at University of Southern Indiana has earned recognition as a Highest Honors Chapter for the 2017-2018 academic year. This is the highest level of recognition that a chapter can earn as part of the Chapter Honor Roll Program. Qualifying for highest honors is indicative of a campus where academic excellence is highly valued and where the faculty officers of the chapter work diligently to enhance Beta Gamma Sigma’s stature on campus.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society recognizing the "best in business" that provides the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate or graduate program at a school accredited by AACSB International. The Romain College is one of only a small number of colleges globally that is accredited for both its business and accounting programs. The USI chapter was installed May 1, 1998, and currently has more than 700 members.
On February 22, 2017, we dedicated the Beta Gamma Sigma key which is displayed in the atrium of the Business and Engineering Center. It serves as a symbol of academic excellence. We thank Dr. Victor V. Schriefer, Jr. for generously underwriting this special gift.
