Congratulations to junior Erika Dunkelberger, an economics and mathematics major. Erika has been accepted as a participant in the IFREE Undergraduate Workshop in Behavioral and Experimental Economics at Purdue University this summer. The Department of Economics at Purdue University, in the Krannert School of Management, will host the workshop for advanced undergraduate students (rising juniors and seniors).
The purpose of the workshop is to provide an introduction to experimental methods in economics, and how experiments inform research developments in behavioral economics and policy. Each workshop module will include an experiment in the Vernon Smith Experimental Economics Laboratory (VSEEL) and a discussion of behavioral results. The workshop will feature Purdue faculty and Vernon Smith, 2002 Nobel Prize winner in Economic Sciences.
