International Education Week is a national celebration held in November that is used as an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. International Education Week is a joint initiative through the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to help promote programs to Americans that prepare them for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
The Center for International Programs is proud to celebrate International Education Week in a series of activities and presentations that showcase our diverse campus and present opportunities for students and USI faculty and staff to learn more about the world through our events.
This year, USI celebrates International Education Week November 11-15, 2024. Throughout the week, you will have an opportunity to attend and participate in one of several globally-themed events. USI students who check-in and attend at least three events during International Education Week are eligible to enter one of three prizes valued at $50.00. Must be present at the International Extravaganza to win the prizes.
