We understand that every country has a unique education system. To help determine which specific academic documents are required for admission, we have developed the following list of equivalent secondary school credentials.
Freshmen must submit complete final secondary school transcripts. All documents must be official, original, and final. English translations must be provided for all non-English documents. We do reserve the right to request a third party NACES certified credentials evaluation for complex educational backgrounds.

Bahamas - GCE A Level exam results
Bahrain - Tawjahiya Secondary School Certificate (from an agriculture, arts, commercial, health sciences, textiles, or religious institute—Shahaadat itmaam al-diraasa al-thaanawiya al-aamma) / General Certificate of Secondary Education (from public institute)
Bangladesh - Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) - Due to the current amount of fraud, applicants with records from Bangladesh are required to submit an official NACES member evaluation
Belgium - Certificate of Higher Secondary Education: Certificat d’Enseignement Secondaire Superieur (French Community) or Getuigschrift van Hoger Secundair Onderwijs (Flemish Community)
Brazil - Diploma/Certificado de Ensino Medio
Canada - Completion of senior secondary school— General or Advanced High School Diploma (Ontario Secondary School Diploma, Senior Secondary Graduation Diploma, etc.)
China - Upper Middle School Graduation Certificate with official English translation bearing the original ink seal of the school
Colombia - Bachiller (Bachelor, High School Graduate) / Bachillerato (Baccalaureate) / Título de Bachiller Academico / Educación Media (Upper Secondary)
Costa Rica - Diploma de conclusión de estudios de educación diversificada (Diploma of Conclusion of Diversified Education Studies) or Bachillerato
Egypt - Thanaweya a’ Amma (General Secondary Education Certificate) / Shehadet Thanawiya Azharia (Al Azhar Secondary Education Certificate)
France - Baccalauréat de l’Enseignement de Second Degré / Baccalauréat Général, For university-level work: Students should submit final and official rélève de notes for
Germany - Zeugnis der Allgemeinen Hochschulreife (Certificate of General Maturity for Higher Education) or Abitur

Hong Kong - Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) results showing completion of at least six examinations with grades of four or higher on each. At least one exam must be in each of the following areas: English, Math, Lab Science, and Social Science.
India - Official grade 12 board exam results (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination / Senior School Certificate Examination–Class XXII / Indian School Certificate –Year 12)
Indonesia - Surat Tanda Tamat Belajar (STTB) or Ijazah Sekolah Menengah Atas (Diploma) from an Academic Upper Secondary School
International Baccalaureate and British-Style Exams - Official transcript of grades from the International Baccalaureate Organization. Students can request that the official transcript be sent by visiting the International Baccalaureate website and filling out the information. Completion of individual IB school graduation requirements. General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) showing completion of at least five Ordinary Level examinations with grades of C or better, certified by the examination body or the student’s secondary school. At least one exam must be in each of the following areas: English, Math, Lab Science, and Social Science. For A Levels: A level certificates must be certified by the examination body in order the student to be awarded advanced standing.

Israel - Teudat Bagrut (Matriculation Certificate)

Jordan - Tawjihi General Secondary Education Certificate
Kazakhstan - Attestat or attestation of middle (complete) secondary education
Kenya - Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)
Kyrgyzstan - Official copies of the Attestat certificate and the table (transcript) that comes with it. For university-level coursework: A copy of the spravka (progress report) is needed for incomplete university level coursework.
Latvia - Completion of the Atestats par Visparejo Videjo Izglitibu (Certificate of General Secondary Education, awarded upon completion of three-year program from Vidusskola [General Secondary School] or Gimnazija [Gymnasium])
Malaysia - Sijil Pelajaran/SPM (Malaysian Certificate of Education / General Certificate of Education), or the Sijil Matrikulasi (Matriculation certificate)
Mexico - Certificado de Bachillerato (Baccalaureate Certificate) / Título de Bachiller (Title of Baccalaureate) / Certificado de Preparatoria (Preparatory School Certificate)
Myanmar (Burma) - Diploma of Education, or the Basic Education High School Examination Diploma “A” with two years of university study
New Zealand - National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA), Level 3
Nepal - Higher Secondary Certificate (awarded by a Higher Secondary Examination Board)
Nigeria - West African Examinations Council Senior School Certificate and copy of WAEC scratch card.
Pakistan - Higher Secondary Certificate or Intermediate Certificate and final, official marks statement
Philippines- Completion of first two years of university study if graduated in grade 10, or completion of 12 years of secondary study.
Qatar - Thanawiya aama Qatari (Qatari General Secondary Education Certificate or high school diploma)
Romania - Diploma de bacalaureat (Baccalaureate Diploma) certificate with subjects studied and marks obtained
Russia - Аттестат о среднем (полном) общем образовании / Attest o srednem (polnom) obchshem obrazovanii (Certificate of [Complete] General Secondary Education) (or its equivalent) following the completion of 11–12 years of secondary school. Attestat (Аттестат) certificate and Tabel (Табель). For university coursework: An Akademicheskaya spravka (Академическая справка) for any university work pursued which was not completed.
Saudi Arabia - Official copies of the English and Arabic versions of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Shahadat Al-Marhalat Al-Thanawiyyat) and the Examination Transcript
Singapore - Singapore-Cambridge O Level certificate
South Africa - National Senior Certificate (NSC, from 2008 onwards) with 130 credits
South Korea - Senior high school certificate (Inmungye Kodung Hakkyo)
Spain - Final, official copies of Spanish and English versions of the Bachillerato-Título de Bachiller diploma and examination results
Switzerland - Certificat de Maturite
Taiwan - Senior Middle (High) School Diploma and final, official transcripts with grades in percentages
Thailand - Matayom (Secondary) VI Certificate / M6
Turkey - Original copies of the English and Turkish versions of their academic records for the Lise Diplomasi (General Secondary School [Lyceum] Diploma) and a copy of the Devlet Lise Diplomasi (State Secondary School Diploma) from the Milli Egitim Bakanligi (National Education Ministry)
Ukraine - Atestat pro povnu zagal’nu serednyu osvitu (Certificate of Complete General Secondary Education)
United Arab Emirates - Thanawiya (Government/Secondary School Leaving Certificate) stamped by the Ministry of Education
