This interactive and hands-on workshop is designed to enhance basic suturing skills for wound repair. The suturing techniques will be applicable to most primary or urgent care settings. The workshop welcomes all skill levels. All supplies and practice materials will be provided. Enrollment is limited in order to optimize the learning experience.
This workshop is designed for English-speaking advance practice registered nurses and physician associates.
The workshop will provide didactic lecture and practice on the following basic suturing techniques: simple interrupted, horizontal/vertical mattress, and running stitches. The instructor will discuss pearls of wisdom on wound assessment and care.

The University of Southern Indiana designates this activity for 3.0 contact hours. CE hours will be available for Nurses, Physicians, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and Health Facility Administrators. CE hours will also be available for Indiana licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Mental Health Counselors, and Dental Professionals.

Registration fees are refundable, less a $25.00 administrative fee, prior to September 23, 2025. Refunds will not be provided after that time.
