Dear Colleagues, Students, Alumni and Friends of the Romain College of Business,

The first six months of 2022 may have been difficult for the stock market and cryptocurrencies, but these same six months have been very successful for the Romain College of Business. By reading this newsletter, you will see our students and faculty have enjoyed many achievements during the Spring 2022 Semester.

Meet Dr. Sudesh Mujumdar

Dr. Sudesh Mujumdar has accepted the position of Dean of the Romain College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana. Mujumdar has served as Dean of the College of Business Administration at Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia, since September 2019. Prior to his Deanship at Savannah State University, Mujumdar served as Chair for the Economics and Marketing Department in USI’s Romain College of Business.

Wowed by The Woz

Steve "The Woz" Wozniak, co-founder of Apple computer, took an awed audience on a whirlwind tour of his life, all without leaving Screaming Eagles Arena. Wozniak is the fifth speaker in the Romain College of Business Innovative Speaker Series.

Romain College of Business Receives $100,000 Endowment for Student Scholarship Support

Barry Cox, President of Warehouse Services, Inc., recently made a $100,000 gift to the Romain College of Business to establish a scholarship endowment for students enrolled in the College's Supply Chain Management Certificate program. This new gift will provide perpetual scholarship support for eligible students.

New Chairs of Romain College Advisory Boards

We'd like to give thanks to the immediate past Chairs for their service to the University, and welcome the three incoming Chairs to the Board of Advisors, Accounting Circle and IT Alliance.
