Admin Senate debuts Best of the Nest award

The Administrative Senate team is excited to announce the launch of a new employee recognition award, the Best of the Nest! This award is designed to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding contributions and dedication of USI administrators.
Award details:
- Purpose: This award recognizes and highlights the excellent and important work administrators do at USI.
- Presentation of award: The first award will be presented in February 2025.
- Award: Winners will receive a recognition certificate and a large stuffed eagle to which the winner can add removable accessories. The large eagle will be in the winner’s possession until the next winner is announced, and then he will fly away to his new nest. Also, a short write-up with a photo will appear in an issue of USI Today.
How to nominate:
- Eligibility: All full-time USI administrative staff members are eligible. Nominees must have been employed at USI as an administrator for at least 90 days.
- Nomination process:
- Individuals must be nominated and cannot self-nominate.
- Fill out the Best of the Nest Nomination Form
- Submit the form by January 31.
