USI Academic Affairs Oral History Project
November 15, 2024
USI Academic Affairs is beginning an oral history project to collect histories of alumni who can speak to how their academic experience at USI has contributed to their personal and/or professional success.
Project members are looking for stories of graduates who came to USI for a specific reason or enrolled for one path but found their passion elsewhere by exploring different academic areas. Other alumni stories being sought are from those who were able to take advantage of USI's size, studied abroad, benefited from academic skills and development aids, and/or have personalized advising experiences.
USI employees and retirees: if you have any graduates from your programs who you feel would be good suggestions to contribute to this project, please send their names, contact information and majors to Leigh Anne Howard, Academic Affairs Engagement Coordinator and Professor of Communication Studies, at lahoward@usi.edu.
