Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate (Undergraduate) Overview
A USI TESOL certificate will provide you with professional skills to teach English to speakers of other languages at home and abroad. The certification uniquely provides you a combination of methodological and theoretical training on second language acquisition and teaching methodologies with hands-on experiences in the classroom. Moreover, USI's intensive one-month TESOL summer program is taught by CELTA experienced trainers (Cambridge Assessment English). While the skills and teaching techniques learned are transferable across other areas of life, they also enrich your cultural understanding.
