USI will host two blood drives in March at Carter Hall in the University Center:
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana. To schedule an appointment, click this link.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 27 with the American Red Cross. To schedule an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter sponsor code USIEagles or visit this link.
To prepare for a blood donation:
Get a good night's sleep the night before your donation.
Eat healthy foods and drink extra liquids.
Bring your donor card, driver's license or two other forms of identification.
Bring a list of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications you're taking.
Wear a shirt with sleeves that you can roll up above your elbows.
Ask a friend to donate at the same time. You can support each other and do twice as much good!
