Rice Library February events

To celebrate the month of February, Rice Library has two events for both USI students and employees to participate in.
The Kindness Tree encourages Library visitors to make ornaments with positive messages for themselves and others. Guests can share a gracious phrase, a kind affirmation, or positive words for all. Participants can make ornaments for the tree and one to keep, as well as grab swag from the Counseling and Psychological Services office. The tree will be located on the second floor of Rice Library (near the second-floor puzzle table) during February.
Students (and other visitors) can try their luck with the candy guessing jar, located at the Library Services check-out desk on the first floor of the Library. Between February 3 and 13, you can guess the number of Hershey Kisses in the jar for a chance to win all the candy! The winner will be announced on February 14.
