Simulated Teaching: What Is It?
The Screagle Simulation Station is an innovative virtual reality teaching platform that allows teacher candidates to immerse themselves in lifelike classroom scenarios, providing them with valuable opportunities to practice lesson delivery, behavior management, and parent-teacher interactions in a secure, supportive environment, enhancing their teaching skills and preparing them for real-world success.
The University of Southern Indiana Teacher Education department is proud to offer this service in their new Literacy Center in the Rice Library on campus. The Literacy Center is the only one of its kind in the state of Indiana and offers many invaluable experiences for prospective P-12 teachers.
