Graphic Design Tools Level I Certificate

This 72-hour certificate will provide you the tools and knowledge you need to be confident in your graphic design abilities. Upon completion, you will be able to produce professional quality documents, create stunning vector graphics, edit and process photographs, create your own original images, and organize your images quickly and effectively.

To receive the certificate, complete the following four classes and receive 70% or higher on each of the finals. Courses can be taken in any order. To see complete description and register click on the course titles below. The first time you register for an online course, you will be prompted to create an account. This account will be unique for just the online courses.

Complete the following courses:

Introduction to Lightroom Classic CC Learn to use the tools in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC for the cloud to organize and edit your images, fine-tune lighting and color, and develop an efficient image-processing workflow.

Introduction to InDesign CC Learn how to use Adobe InDesign CC to create professional-quality letterhead, brochures, forms, eBooks, business materials and more.

Introduction to Photoshop CC This hands-on, project-oriented course is filled with detailed step-by-step instructions that teach you how to edit photos and create basic images using Photoshop in the Creative Cloud. Discover how to improve photographs by editing out flaws, correcting for poor exposure, and adding new elements.

Note – All courses must be taken through Lifelong Learning at the University of Southern Indiana in-order to be eligible for the certificate.
