This page provides important information that ALL students, residential and non-residential, will need to know as they arrive on campus and get ready for the fall semester! Please read carefully as some items may have a deadline.
All new students receive a USI Student ID. This card is used for meal plans, Munch Money, Flex Money, and more!

Students MUST bring a government-issued ID to get their Student ID.
- Students who did not receive their Eagle Access Card (Student ID) during their orientation may get theirs by scheduling an appointment to come on campus over the summer by emailing eaglecrd@usi.edu, by attending Welcome Week check-in from Wednesday, August 14–Thursday, August 15, or by visiting the ID office prior to classes starting.
The ID Office will also be open the following hours before classes begin:
- Wednesday, August 14 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Thursday, August 15 | 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Saturday, August 17 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Sunday, August 18 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Students can enjoy free dinners Wednesday–Saturday of Welcome Week. Lunch is also provided Friday, August 16. Students can access food vendors and Munch Money once they arrive on campus.
Meal plans start for brunch on Saturday, August 17 for the Fall Semester.

Meals in The Loft can be paid for through a meal plan, Munch Money, Flex money, or credit/debit cards
Other food vendors can be paid for through Munch Money, Flex money or credit/debit cards.

Some locations have Grubhub for pick-up service. Students can link their Student ID/Munch Money to their Grubhub account. Download the Grubhub app and learn more at https://www.grubhub.com/about/campus.

- The deadline to change a meal plan is midnight Sunday, August 18. It MUST be in writing by emailing from your USI account with your student ID number: foodmealplans@usi.edu

If you have NOT made an advising appointment, you need to schedule one through your Admitted Student Task List or call (812) 465-7167.
Students living on campus are required to register vehicles with Public Safety. If you register your vehicle before you are scheduled to move in, you will receive your parking decal at the Welcome Tent the day that you move in.
Commuter students are not required to register their vehicles, however, it is strongly encouraged that they do, in the case that anything happens to their vehicle on campus.

USI Deaconess Clinic/Immunization Office
Learn about the Office Visit Plan and all of the health services that are offered! You can also turn in your immunization records or verify that the office has everything that they need from you!
If you don't know where to go, go to DOSO! Find out about all of the ways that the DOSO can support you and learn about University policies for students.
If you are a student with a disability and need academic accommodations, visit the Disability Resources Office. If you are unsure whether you have a qualifying disability, please note that the definition is broad, so please contact their office and find out how they can help you!
File for student financial aid, turn in any required paperwork, complete a work-study resume, learn about different types of aid, and more!
Get answers to all technology questions about myUSI, connecting to campus WiFi, signing up for RAVE Alert, Blackboard, Office 365, and other software that you will use on campus.
Institutional Equity and Title IX Office
Learn how to report an incident and about the federal laws/policies regarding equal access, equal employment, and equal educational opportunities. This is also the office that runs the federal-mandated trainings for students.
Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness Center (RFWC)
Learn about all that the Rec Center has to offer including intramural sports, group exercise classes, equipment, Eagle Perks, and more! You can also find their hours online.
Verify your enrollment and learn more about getting registered for your classes, including transferring in credits.
Veteran, Military, and Family Resource Center
