Eagle Experience Programs

All first-year students are expected to participate in the Eagle Experience activities during Welcome Week. Transfer students are encouraged to participate in all Eagle Experience activities, but do not need to participate in the Saturday program.

9 a.m.-1 p.m. | Academic Success | Multiple Locations

Get to know your professors and learn about college expectations before classes begin by attending this program. Meet with your college, have lunch with faculty and learn how to get involved in your major.
Join your fellow classmates at the pep rally to learn the USI fight song, ignite your school spirit and become a Screagle in the Screaming Eagles Arena! Then meet on the Quad to take the official Class of 2028 photo!
Check-in is from 9-9:30 a.m. Initial check-in meeting locations will be posted August 1, 2024.

1:30-3 p.m. | Commuter Student Meeting | Performance Center

Join us for valuable tips on becoming a successful commuter student by getting involved, staying connected at USI and making friends before classes start.

3-5 p.m. | All-Freshman Campus Program | Screaming Eagles Arena

Get a jump-start on your college experience! Freshmen are expected to attend. Student leaders will answer your questions about succeeding in college and talk about how to make friends and get connected at USI. More information will be emailed to all freshmen.
