Disability Awareness Week March 17-20

USI Disability Resources is hosting events on campus as a part of Disability Awareness Week, March 17-20.
- Tabling and Therapy Animal Meet-and-Greet
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, UC West First Floor
- Relax and unwind with therapy animals to kick off the week! Visit The Disability Resources table and learn more about various supports and resources available to students.
- Community Canvas Project and Awareness Giveaways
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, UC West First Floor
- Contribute to a canvas that highlights the theme of “Respect All, Exclude None.” Add your fingerprint to the canvas to show how we are all unique but part of the same community. Volunteers will pass out stickers, flash drives and other giveaways in the first floor food court as well.
- Group Trivia Game Show with SGA
- 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 20, WA 1
- The Student Government Association (SGA) will host a Game Show, “Misconceived,” the show all about clearing up misconceptions surrounding disabilities. Teams of up to four students are invited to participate. A trophy will be awarded to the winning team.
