Benefits Bash to kick-off open enrollment

Human Resources wants to ensure employees are receiving a competitive benefits package and know how to access those great benefits. Kicking off the 2017 open enrollment period, the Benefits Bash will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 26 in University Center East, rooms 2217 and 2218. A retiree information session will be held at 9 a.m. in room 2219. Additional employee information meetings will be held on November 2, from 5 to 7:30 a.m. and from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the HR Training Room (FA164).
Representatives from a variety of providers will be available to discuss benefit options and decisions. Free handouts, door prizes and light refreshments will be available. The Human Resources staff also will be present to help employees understand benefit plan details and to answer any questions.
During the open enrollment period, benefit-eligible employees, have the opportunity to evaluate insurance needs and make changes to benefits for the following plan year. The Benefits Bash is a resource to help employees learn what's new for 2017, and what may be needed during open enrollment.

- Make changes to your plan
- Update your beneficiaries
- Understand all of your benefits
- Continue FSA contributions by completing an annual enrollment form
- Complete a new HSA form for 2017 if you have Anthem Lumenos CDHP
- Fun, snacks and great door prizes
