USI's manufacturing engineering technology program is a 4-year course of study in engineering technology. Upon completion, you will receive a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology that bridges the gap between 2-year associate degrees and 4-year engineering degrees. The curriculum's variety of courses and experiences will prepare you for entry into the manufacturing industries.
Building on Core 39 courses, the program's curriculum provides a foundation from mathematics to the survey of calculus level, English language, communications, the sciences, and ethics. You’ll learn analytic skills and gain hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering technologies, and computer-aided design and modeling. Students gain real-world, industrial experience due to USI’s Applied Engineering Center (AEC) and state of the art advanced manufacturing equipment. The focus of the AEC is on applying and implementing technology with a practical, hands-on approach for solving real-world manufacturing problems.
