Health Services Degree with Degree Completion Option

The health service degree with degree completion option allows you to expand your understanding of a variety of topics in health care. At USI, you’ll learn about many conditions and diseases, alternative therapies, and new ways of approaching caring for and preventing these conditions. The health services degree with a completion option allows individuals with certain clinical licenses to complete a bachelor’s degree. One major benefit you’ll enjoy is that coursework can be completed online.

Completion of the bachelor’s degree in health services provides you with the opportunity for growth in your health career. The degree can allow for you, as a practicing healthcare provider, to continue your employment, move into advanced positions, and can complement their profession.

CNHP Handbook

To apply to the University of Southern Indiana (USI) for undergraduate enrollment:

  • Complete the online application for admission
  • Pay the $40 application fee
  • Submit official transcripts from all high schools and colleges you've attended

Once USI has processed your application, transcript(s) and scores (if needed), a decision will be made by Undergraduate Admissions and you will receive a notification.

Upon acceptance to USI, you'll receive detailed information about next steps, including orientation, registration and housing.


Chair approval is required to declare "degree completion" as a track for the Bachelor of Science in Health Services.
