The USI Screaming Eagles Athletic department is a competitive member of the NCAA Division I and the Ohio Valley Conference. Men's Soccer, and Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving are members of the Summit League. Men's Tennis is a member of the part of the OVC/Horizon League partnership.

Meet Archie Eagle

Archie T. Eagle has been part of USI since the 1970s and can be found at sporting events, student events, and in the local community. We have a growing mascot program and are always looking for students to be the next Archie or one of "Archie's Friends".
