First day of tutoring - 1/21/2025

Last day of tutoring for the semester: 5/2/25

No Tutoring on March 10-15 (Spring Break, No classes) 

Spring Assessment Day (No Classes) - April 1

April 18 (No classes).

Tutoring and Academic Coaching will not be available when classes are canceled.

Tutoring times and tutor availability are subject to change without notice.

Please contact the Front Desk to get information on specific tutor absences.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACADEMIC SKILLS

All Academic Support is provided free of charge.

Academic Success Center is a walk-in help room; we offer in-person, drop-in assistance with no advanced appointments required.

Writers’ Room sessions are available both as drop-ins and appointments.

Contact the front desk if you cannot find the tutor or table you are looking for, or have any questions about tutoring services.

REQUESTING ONLINE TUTORING APPOINTMENTS

To request a private, remote tutoring session via Zoom:

• Zoom sessions should be scheduled through TutorTrac, which can be found as a MyUSI app.
• If you have difficulty scheduling through TutorTrac, please send an email to Online.Tutoring@usi.edu with the requested subject and time; if an online session can be scheduled, the student will receive a confirmation email from Academic Success Center with session details.
• You can also call Academic Success Center Mondays through Fridays between 9 am-3 pm at (812)-464-1743 and ask for assistance with scheduling.
• Students should schedule appointments at least 48 hours in advance.
