USI invites public to The Driver Era concert at Liberty Arena

March 4, 2026

The University of Southern Indiana is inviting the Evansville and surrounding community to join the excitement of SpringFest with a live, public concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 11 featuring alternative pop duo The Driver Era performing in Liberty Arena, Home of the Screaming Eagles.

Formed in 2018 following the conclusion of their earlier band R5, Los Angeles based group, The Driver Era, blends alternative rock, funk and R&B influences into a modern, genre-crossing sound. Writing, performing and producing their own music, the duo quickly established themselves with the release of their debut single Preacher Man and have continued to build a strong following through a steady stream of releases and live performances.

Doors for the concert will open at 6 p.m., with music beginning at 7 p.m. when USI student and opening act Lucas Washington takes the stage. The Driver Era will follow at 8 p.m. for a night of live music, community and celebration inside Liberty Arena.

Tickets are $30 for the public and free for USI students. To purchase tickets, visit the USI SpringFest ticketing webpage.

The concert, sponsored by USI’s Student Life Office, serves as the grand finale of SpringFest, USI’s annual four‑day campus celebration. SpringFest kicks off Wednesday, April 8, featuring a variety of events and activities for the University community, and culminates Saturday night with this marquee concert experience.
