USI Art and Design Department presents annual Spring 2025 Senior Seminar Exhibition
December 9, 2024
The University of Southern Indiana Art and Design Department will host its 2025 Spring Senior Seminar Exhibition in the form of a building takeover now through Friday, January 10 in the Arts Center. This exhibition features the creative work of senior studio art, graphic design, interactive media, illustration and photography students.
The Senior Art and Design Seminars are capstone courses for art and art education majors and combine discussion of current aesthetics issues in the visual arts with practical knowledge in career or graduate school preparation, as well as evaluation of the student artistic growth and potential. This group exhibit is the culmination of these courses and a high point in the art majors’ experience at USI.
“The Spring 2025 Senior Seminar Exhibition is a major part of the culminating capstone experience for each art and design student,” says Rob Dickes, Associate Professor of Photography and Digital Imaging. “This exhibition is a display of the best artwork and designs that each student has created during their time at USI and demonstrates the depth and breadth of the creative activities happening within the Art and Design Department.”
