USI Psychology Department to host second annual Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference November 1
October 2, 2024
The University of Southern Indiana’s Psychology Department will host the second annual Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference (UPRC) at 1 p.m. Friday, November 1 in Carter Hall, located in University Center West. The event is open to the public at no charge, but registration is required. If you are not a presenter, mentor or moderator, register for the conference by completing this form before Sunday, October 20.
UPRC is an annual undergraduate psychology conference hosted by the International Honor Society in Psychology, Psi Chi chapter at USI. This conference's purpose is to recognize, promote and share research across all psychology areas.
“The conference offers an opportunity for students to present their research in a professional setting, promotes student engagement in psychological research and encourages critical thinking and professional development,” says Dr. Urska Dobersek, Associate Professor of Psychology. “UPRC enriches USI’s culture by fostering collaboration, learning and the pursuit of knowledge, ultimately enhancing both the academic and personal growth of students.”
A program of events will be available mid-late October after all submissions have been reviewed and selected.
