Hess promoted to director of Web Services at USI

Brandi Hess '00 has been promoted to the position of director of Web Services at the University of Southern Indiana. Hess, who had been serving as manager of Web Services, began her new duties on Friday, February 1 and will lead the Web Services team in the management and strategic development of the University's overall web presence.

Hess began working as a web designer at USI after her graduation in 2000 and has played a role in every major revision of the website, including the creation of the first responsive website design for a public university in Indiana. After working as an art director for a marketing agency in Evansville, she returned as a web developer in 2010 and, prior to her promotion, served as manager of Web Services since 2012.

Hess is actively involved in various boards and organizations in Perry County, including serving as a member of the board of directors for the Perry County Museum and the Cannelton Foundation. In 2016, she served as a torch bearer for Perry County for the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay. She has a bachelor's degree in computer publishing and journalism from USI.
