Late Night Breakfast leads to large donation for Archie's Closet

December 11, 2018

The more than 300 students who attended the recent Late Night Breakfast in The Loft were able to enjoy a fun study break with friends while giving back to the greater University community. To attend the event, each student was required to donate one dollar or one food item for Archie's Closet, an on-campus resource for all members of the USI community.

Sarah Adams, assistant director of resident engagement and advisor for the National Residence Hall Honorary and Student Housing Association, says 331 people contributed $178 and more than five bins of food. That money was used to buy toiletries, and all items were delivered to Archie's Closet on Monday, December 10.

All faculty and staff members are encouraged to volunteer at the spring Late Night Breakfast, scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 2019.
