
Vowells to serve as USI bursar

The University of Southern Indiana has tapped Angela Vowells as its new Bursar. She began her duties on October 9.
As bursar, Vowells will oversee the assessment of student fees, approve student refunds, direct the monthly billing process, analyze outstanding accounts and monitor relationships with external collection agencies. She will provide leadership for the Bursar's office and administration of accounts receivable.
Prior to joining USI, Vowells served as controller for Interstate Imaging, Crescent City Security, Vendair Vending in Evansville. She is involved with Bethel Community Church.
She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and accounting from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree with an accounting focus, from USI.
