Student Programs
We only have one day for Orientation, but there is much more information to give you! The University has several programs designed to help new students integrate into USI's culture and student body, develop the skills necessary to excel in their college courses and recognize their potential to achieve great success. Our office's programs will build from the Orientation experience and help students successfully transition to USI.

- August 14-21: Welcome Week
- Wednesday, August 28: Student Involvement Fair | 2-5 pm | Quad
- Monday, September 2: Labor Day (no classes) and Labor Day at the Lake
- Tuesday, September 10: Fall Engaged Learning Day
- Wednesday, September 25: Wellness Fair| 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. | University Center West, Carter Hall
- October 7-8: Fall Break
- October 21-25: Spring Priority Registration
- November 27-30: Thanksgiving Break
- December 7-14: Final Exams
- December 23-Jan 1: University closed
- Monday, January 13: First Day of the Semester
