The Kenneth P. McCutchan Art Center / Palmina F. and Stephen S. Pace Galleries is seeking
entries for its 2025 summer exhibition, Artists Among Us. All active and retired employees of
the university (staff, administrators, and faculty*) are encouraged to submit their artwork for
display in the show. *Art and Design Department faculty are excluded from participation
Exhibition Dates
The exhibition will open on Monday, June 30 in the MAC/Pace Galleries. The show will run
from June 30 through August 29, 2025.
Submission Guidelines
・Up to 3 works per artists
・Participants must work at USI (retirees are welcome)
・All artwork must be framed/ready to install on 6/20/2025.
・Examples of acceptable media include, drawing, painting, woodworking, digital
illustration, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, etc.
・Artwork submitted cannot have been displayed in the MAC/Pace before, otherwise, all
works will be accepted (non-juried)
Intent to Participate: submitted by Friday, May 9, 2025
Please email your intent to participate to Brett Anderson.
Clearly include the following information in your email; your name, contact information, and
what department/area you work for at USI. We will also need to know the number of pieces
you intend to submit and an estimation of their size (framed).
Delivery of Work to the MAC/Pace
Artworks must be brought to the galleries between Monday, June 9 and Friday, June 20. The
MAC/Pace will be open Monday through Friday, from 10am – 4pm.
Alternatively, works can be delivered before then by scheduling a meeting time with the
gallery director. All works need to be brought to galleries by June 20 for installation.
A completed loan agreement and entry form must accompany the artworks when they are
delivered to galleries.
Reception and Awards
The campus community is invited to a reception and awards ceremony for the exhibition on
Friday, August 22 at 2pm. Brett Anderson, Director of the MAC/Pace, and Sara Christensen
Blair, Chair of the Department of Art and Design will co-juror awards for the exhibition. The
awards will include Best of Show, People’s choice, and media awards, among others. More
