Academic Skills offers academic support for all USI students through services including tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, and the Writers’ Room. Students may also work with academic peer coaches who can offer individualized assistance with study skills, including time management skills, test-taking strategies, note-taking strategies, and textbook reading strategies. USI Veterans Support Services - USI recognizes military members and dependents have special needs and concerns. The Veteran Support Services office seeks to ease the transition from military to civilian life. The office is located on the lower level of the Education Center, Room 0114. Phone 812-464-1857
Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Center Adaptive bicycles, both recumbent and hand cycles have been added to USI’s ‘fleet’ of bicycles that are available to check out.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) - We all have had times when we feel at a loss and don’t know what to do. The CAPS staff is here to help. Call 812-464-1867 or stop by the Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Center, FC 302 for an appointment.
Sodexo serves as USI's food and dining services providing assistance for students with food allergies, Celiac disease, or other special diet needs.
