Whether its missing class due to a hangover, getting in legal trouble, or increasing risk of personal injury, the use of alcohol and/or other drugs has the potential to interfere with short and long-term goals and academic success. It's important to understand how alcohol and other drugs affect your personal health, and learn the steps you can take to reduce your risk. Remember, your college experience should be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

The legal drinking age is 21. If you are under 21, not drinking is the only safe and legal choice.
As a requirement of the Federal Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Regulations, the University of Southern Indiana distributes this Annual Notification of the university’s alcohol and drug prevention programs to all students and employees on an annual basis. To ensure that all members of the campus community receive the Annual Notification document it is directly emailed to all students and employees email addresses.
