Mara Beth Womack is a retired Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting. During her tenure at USI, she garnered several professional accomplishments and publications until her retirement in 2010. She spent her days as an active grandmother for almost 12 years until she was called back to USI in 2022. When the program had difficulty finding adjunct faculty after the COVID-19 pandemic, Womack returned to help in the USI Dental Clinic. At age 71, she still works in the pre-clinic and clinic as needed, and she enjoys mentoring dental hygiene students and participating in the learning environment.
