Jordan Thomason is an Instructor and Clinical Coordinator in the USI Diagnostic Medical Sonography Department. She received her bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography from USI in 2013. Since then, she has dedicated most of her professional life to high-risk obstetrics, working in several different locations across the United States. However, her love for Evansville and the Tri-state area brought her back to teach at USI. She is one of seven people in the U.S., and the only person in Indiana, certified in abdomen, OBGYN and pediatric sonography, as well as adult echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography and fetal cardiography. She has significant experience in performing pediatric echocardiograms in a neonatal intensive care unit, which lead to her advocacy for detecting congenital heart defects.
