Jamie Baker is an Instructor in Food and Nutrition at USI where she teaches courses in food service management and food safety. She is a Registered Dietitian (RD) as well as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Baker worked for seven years in maternal and child health nutrition at the local and state level of the department for public health in Kentucky before transitioning to academia. Her research interests lie in breastfeeding/lactation and evidence-based practice in healthcare.
