Emily Holt is a Clinical Professor of Dental Hygiene/Assisting in the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting Programs and Chair of the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs at USI. She is a licensed dental hygienist and certified dental assistant with additional certifications in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and oxygen sedation, diode laser, guided biofilm therapy, expanded functions dentistry and mental health first aid. With over 18 years of teaching experience at USI, she has taught many of the courses within the dental hygiene curriculum. Holt continues to practice dental hygiene in Evansville, and she is an examiner for dental hygiene clinical examinations nationwide.
