Career Services collaborates with other on-campus departments to provide a variety of events designed to help students explore career options and network with potential employers. The skills learned and networking opportunities provided will be essential for career success. Students are strongly encouraged to attend career and professional development events regularly. Appointments

An essential aspect of your education is career development, so meeting with a USI Career Coordinator is important at all stages of your college career. In addition, visiting Career Services often will ensure you are well prepared by graduation. We offer 1:1 appointments for resume review, job and internship search, interview preparation, social media review, LinkedIn development and more! Career Launch

Career Launch provides our students with opportunities and online career preparation tools. You have 24/7 access to job and internship postings, video mock interviews, and career planning pathways. In addition, you can track your internship progress, research career options, and schedule appointments with a USI Career Coordinator. Employers can post their internship or job opportunities. Report an Internship

All USI Internships and Experiential Learning should be reported on Career Launch. This will serve as your official record of the experience. This includes paid and unpaid, for-credit and non-credit experiences.

Career Outcomes

We are proud of our graduates and want to celebrate their successes. Each year, we ask that seniors and recent graduates complete the Graduate Survey and share their post-graduation plans with us. The purpose of the graduate survey is to provide employment data for current and incoming students. The graduate survey data includes statics related to employers, salary, job titles, and graduate school information. Most people attend college to increase their earning potential and career advancement, being informed can help with future career success.
