CAP Advising Information

High school students should investigate whether a course will fit into their college coursework degree map before signing up for dual credit. There are several ways to investigate course utility.

USI advisors are here to help prospective USI students understand how dual credit courses can fit into an intended major or USI's Core 39 Core Curriculum.

Credit Transfer to Other Universities

Non-USI bound students will need to investigate how their USI credit earned through CAP will transfer to their university of choice.

Learn More About Earning the Indiana College Core (ICC)

Some high schools that offer dual credit also offer the Indiana College Core (ICC) Certificate through USI.

If you'd like to schedule a time to meet with a CAP advisor, schedule a time with your guidance counselor when the CAP advisor is at your school (details available on the calendar link below):

Also, CAP students can complete an online form for major specific CAP advising information via the button below. If you don't see a time scheduled for your school, contact Dana Drury in the CAP Office for advising questions or to schedule an appointment at dedrury@usi.edu or 812-464-1972.
