Day and evening classes are cancelled Thursday, March 5. The campus is closed.

The Residence Life office desk and community center will be open regular hours. Main office 8 a.m. to midnight; Community center 7:30 a.m. - 1 a.m.
The Recreation and Fitness Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Loft will serve breakfast during normal hours, lunch during normal hours and will close at 7:00 p.m.
SubConnection will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The C-Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (no deliveries)
The campus shuttle and west connection buses will continue to operate on their normal schedule. Bus service to Golden Towers and Mission Viejo apartments has been temporarily suspended. Delays may occur

Public Safety office maintains 24-hour, seven-day-a-week coverage of the campus. Security duties include traffic control, security of physical assets, and safety of all employees, students, and guests of the campus. In addition, all security staff are trained in first aid and other emergency procedures.
Emergency phones are located around the campus in the blue cylindrical structures with a light on top. Merely pressing the button will connect to the emergency number.
The office is located in the Security Building. The telephone number is 812/464-1845 for routine business. For emergencies, call extension 7777.
USI RAVEAlert gives critical and timely warnings - via email, text message, and voice message - about emergencies, severe weather, and other incidents impacting the University community. Everyone with a USI email address is automatically enrolled in the RAVEAlert system.
