Student Organization Celebration
The 3rd Annual Student Organization Celebration was scheduled to occur April 7, 2020. Our office still plans to celebrate nominees and winners. This will take place via social media in late April. Details on the event time and social media platform will be emailed out soon. This event will be held in conjunction with the annual Fraternity and Sorority Life awards that were also cancelled. If you have specific questions, please email Jenny Garrison

Student Organization Activity Grant Fund (aka $1,000 Grant)
If student organization are still looking to spend their approved grant funding, this is still possible. In the coming weeks, our office will be sending out reminders of how much money is left to spend and ideas on how those funds can be utilized. Some groups set aside funding for events that have been cancelled or are not allowed to occur, these funds can be re-purposed for other expenses. For more information on what the grant can be used for please visit our resource site.

Elections for New Officers
Traditionally, many of our student organizations conduct officer elections in the Spring Semester. To know if this is true for your organization, I encourage you to review your constitution. Student Organization Constitutions can be found in EagleSync by clicking on the "Organization Settings" link in the upper right portion of the organization's EagleSync portal page. Due to the unfortunate circumstances we are working with, if your organization does not feel comfortable doing elections electronically, you are allowed to conduct a Fall Election even if this is not in your constitution. Flexibility is key to working through this together and if you have any concerns, please reach out to Jenny Garrison

Virtual Meetings
Your student organization can meet virtually through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other free platforms. If your group feels like this is a good idea, we encourage you to start making plans for the Fall Semester.
