Eagle Leaders and Camp Assistants are current USI students with a 2.5 cumulative GPA, who have been involved in leadership positions on campus and want to share their leadership experiences and knowledge with Camp Eagle participants.

Eagle Leaders Expectations and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate “Flock Meetings” (small group sessions during Camp Eagle)
  • Serve as team leaders and mentors during Camp Eagle activities
  • Provide Camp Eagle participants with mentorship, information, and guidance on getting involved at USI
  • Attend all Eagle Leader training sessions (June 24-25) and Camp Eagle
  • Eight positions available

Camp Assistants Expectations and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning Camp Eagle
  • Assist with facilitating Eagle Leader training and Camp Eagle
  • Serve as camp contact and Eagle Leader mentor
  • Provide Camp Eagle participants with mentorship, information, and guidance on getting involved at USI
  • Attend Camp Assistant Training (June 23), help facilitate Eagle Leader training sessions (June 24-25) and assist leading Camp Eagle (June 26-28). Attend additional training if necessary
  • Two positions available

Eagle Leaders and Camp Assistants receive the following as compensation:

  • Camp Eagle staff uniform/shirts
  • Camp Eagle bag
  • Meals and lodging during Camp Eagle and training

To apply to be an Eagle Leader and/or Camp Assistant, submit your application by Sunday, March 1. Interviews will occur March 17-27 and applicants will be notified the following week of their selection status.
