Liberal Arts Living Learning Communities

Are you committed to the arts, humanities, or social sciences?

The Liberal Arts LLC focuses on interdisciplinary knowledge, civic engagement, and global citizenship. You'll develop close relationships with students from any of the 10 academic departments within USI's College of Liberal Arts.

Come live and learn with others who want to prepare themselves for demanding careers and connect their learning to the world beyond the classroom.

Students in the Liberal Arts LLC take the following classes together:

Fall Semester

  • UNIV 101 First Year Experience
  • GLST 101 Intro to Global Studies

Spring Semester

  • ENG 105 Intro to Literature

Classes are subject to change, a final list of classes will be published by March 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester.

This LLC also has a mentorship program, so students will be paired with a mentor to help them adjust to USI!

If students come in with college level credit for one of the LLC classes, they do not take the class with their cohort.
