The federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) went into effect April 1, 2020, and remains in effect through December 31, 2020. The FFCRA works within the existing Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to provide protected leave for eligible employees affected by COVID-19.
Under the FFCRA, USI offers two new employer paid leaves: Emergency Paid Sick Leave (EPSL) and the Emergency Family Medical Leave Expansion Act (EFMLEA).
