The mission of BPAGE is to support existing GLBT owned and supportive business through networking and advertising; to raise funds for local charity organizations that help the GLBT community; and to encourage GLBT self-identified young adults create new businesses that support the community.

BPAGE meets the first Tuesday of every month 6:30 pm at Jaya's, 119 SE 4th Street, Evansville.

Carver Community Organization is a non profit organization that has served the residents of Evansville–Vanderburgh County of Indiana since 1944. Carver Community provides programs and services for a better community and are dedicated to helping people help themselves by meeting the needs of all generations.

The Community Action Program of Evansville and Vanderburgh County, Inc. (CAPE)addresses the customer's needs in a non-judgmental and respectful manner to promote economic and social self-sufficiency. This mission is supported by employees committed to addressing the needs of the community by collaboration with the community to provide tools, skills and services through programs that meet individual needs.


Gender Warriors

Gender Warriors is an educational, advocacy, and social group for Trans* / Genderqueer / Gender Non-Conforming people and others who want to further the cause.  Our mission is to create a more tolerant, friendly, and responsive environment for those who identify as transgender, genderqueer, or otherwise gender non-conforming.  We seek to do this through private meetings as well as community activities (such as presentations, discussions, film screenings, and other public events).  We seek to increase the number of resources (medical, counseling, housing, etc) and fight overt discrimination by bosses, colleagues, family members, friends, religious leaders, and the community at large.  In addition, we seek to foster bonds among transgender individuals that might not otherwise have an adequate social support system.

Gender Warriors meet every other Sunday at 5 p.m. in Evansville, IN. A specific schedule can be found on the website.

PFLAG is the original ally organization. Made up of parents, families, friends, and straight allies uniting with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education and advocacy.

Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church located at 609 S.E. 2nd Street in downtown Evansville.

This nonprofit is the primary social service and educational organization serving the diverse gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities of the Evansville area. This organization works to educate the community on relevant LGBT issues, provides diversity training to other public and social service organizations. Other services include: a regional LGBT youth group, LGBT events (Such as LGBT Prom), HIV prevention targeting the gay community, Lesbian Health Project services, and support services (such as the Tri-State Alliance “It gets better” project).
