16th Annual Spring Social Work Conference: "Practically Relational: Moving Beyond the Nuts and Bolts of Social Work Practice"

Presented by the USI Social Work department in celebration of National Professional Social Work Month. The annual spring conference is more than just an opportunity to earn CE hours – it is designed for alumni, practitioners, students and others to meet or reconnect with former classmates and colleagues. Breakout morning and afternoon workshops will provide opportunities to explore various dimensions of social work practice while earning CE hours. Recognition awards will be given to the NASW Region 8 social worker of the year and the social work community partner of the year.

The conference this year will be on Friday, March 2. Mark the date and plan to attend this year’s conference. The conference event is designed to create a day and space where colleagues from around the community can come together in celebration of our profession.

Outreach and Engagement works with USI departments and external agencies to provide professional development opportunities for social workers, psychologists and counselors. Some health professions conferences also carry CE for these professions.
