Student Success Day

We are excited to provide you with the opportunity to attend a day dedicated to helping you prepare and succeed in college. Choose to attend as many sessions as you’d like and join current USI students, faculty and staff as we cover topics related to your mind, self and world view. Parents are also invited to attend any and all sessions. Additionally, Guidance Counselors are welcome to bring classes to participate in Student Success Day  

Sessions officially begin at 11 a.m. CDT. Plan to check in 30 minutes prior to your first session. Optional campus and housing tours will also be available throughout the day. Read the session descriptions below before registering so that you can select your session on the form.

Check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Fuquay Welcome Center.

Attendees will learn about research-based findings related to a person's happiness, optimism, and overall well-being. Specific strategies to enhance a person's daily happiness and optimism will be explored.
